In-Harmony Concert

The In-Harmony concerts that we have had we have always had to practice for them.  The last  concert that we played was at Larkman School. We played with their in- harmony group and by the end of the session we sounded like real orchestra.

In the Easter holidays the in-harmony leaders arranged for Catton Grove Primary and Larkman School to play a concert at St Andrews Hall.

On arrival at St Andrews Halls once everyone was there. We had an hour and a half to rehearse ,before the general public sat down to listen to us play.

I was very nervous as i had to lead the orchestra on to the stage, and the hall was packed with people who had come to see us.

The  first piece of music we played was “Tudor Dance.” then we played Andantino which was composed by Cesar Franck.

To date my favorite piece of music i have had to learn to play is “The Dance  of the Sugar Plum Fairy.” composed by Tchaikovsky.

Below I  have embedded a short video clip of us playing” Star Wars.”
