Toothbrush facts

Blue toothbrushes are the most popular followed by red toothbrushes. (This information was not collected by me.)
The first toothbrushes were made out of bone or bamboo, with hog bristles.
Women use toothbrushes more than men.
Americans spend around $850 a year on toothbrushes.
The worlds most expensive toothbrush is Philip's Flexcare Plus. It is priced at $189.99! It is electric (kind of obvious at that price,) and delivers just under 520 brush strokes per second!
William Addiss invented the first modern toothbrush in 1780, while bored in prison.
Americans throw away around 25,000 tones of toothbrushes per year.
